Tank Seal Profile R34.
Geometry, analysis and remaining engineering work for Tank Seal Profile R34.
Retained development study. Dimensions, names and checks belong to this revision—not automatically to the retrofit-only product. Manufactured tank shells are deferred. No installation instruction, certification or manufacturing release is represented.

Why this detail was investigated.
An ideal, continuous 8 mm circular cord is modeled on each proposed rounded-rectangle path. Both free profiles are valid single solids, match circular cross-sectional area × path length, and pass STEP reimport checks.

- 1500-size free seal profile - 2000-size free seal profile - Profile and fit checks
The free profile clears the R33 grooved body and protrudes 2 mm above the Z1755 bearing plane. It consequently overlaps the closed roof in its undeformed state. That overlap is expected in this free-profile study; it is not a validated closed assembly or a predicted compressed shape.
The nominal 2 mm reduction from an 8 mm cord is a 25% geometric squeeze assumption. Actual force, deformation, contact pressure, compression set, material growth, joining and tolerance behavior remain unqualified. No supplier or compound is selected, and the ideal loop does not establish a feasible manufacturing splice or cut length.
These files are design-review profiles, not released gaskets or fabrication instructions.
